Jávea, or Xàbia, is a coastal municipality in the province of Alicante, covering around 68 km² and with 25 km of coastline. It stretches from the foothills of the Montgó massif to the Mediterranean Sea.
The Montgó, with an ارتفاع of 753 metres, acts as a natural border between Jávea and Dénia. Its surroundings are protected as the Montgó Natural Park.
Jávea has 27 kilometres of coastline, characterized by a mix of wide beaches and beautiful rocky coves. Among the main coastal spots are Arenal Beach, Granadella Cove, Portitxol Cove (or Barraca), Blanca Cove and Ambolo Cove, among others.
